Brian Wynter, O.J.

Brian Wynter is a distinguished financial professional with decades of leadership in both global and Caribbean financial institutions. As a descendant of one of the founding shareholders of the St. Vincent Cooperative Bank, he maintains a legacy of stewardship and excellence. His family continues to hold shares in La Fleur Bancorp, underscoring their commitment to the institution’s growth.

He holds a BSc (Economics) Honours from the London School of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Law from the City University of London, and a Master’s in International Economics from Columbia University. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales and is an enrolled attorney in Jamaica.

Mr. Wynter’s career includes international experience with Chase Investment Bank and Schroder Wertheim in New York, followed by key leadership roles in Jamaica's financial system. He served as Director of Investment at NIBJ, General Manager at Mutual Security Merchant Bank, and Vice President at Citibank N.A. He was appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of Jamaica, then Technical Advisor to the Minister of Finance, and later became the inaugural Executive Director of the Financial Services Commission.

In 2009, he was appointed Governor of the Bank of Jamaica, where he led transformative reforms and was awarded the Order of Jamaica in 2020. In February 2025, he was appointed Commissioner on the Jamaica Integrity Commission.

Dr. Sterling Frost, O.R.T.T.

Dr. Sterling Frost is a distinguished Professor of Practice in Management Studies and the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Costa Rica to Trinidad and Tobago. With over four decades of experience, he is renowned as a Senior International Management Executive with a global outlook and a history of integrating academia with the corporate world.

He has led organizations successfully across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, spanning the Public, Banking and Financial Services, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Academic sectors. Dr. Frost holds both a Master’s and Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies (UWI), along with professional designations such as Accredited Director and Chartered Secretary from the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada.

He is also a certified Executive Coach by the University of California, Berkeley, a Prosci-Certified Change Practitioner, and a Partner for DISC Personality Assessments.

In 2019, he became the first person in UWI history to be appointed Professor of Practice in Management Studies. He is the recipient of UWI’s Inaugural Distinguished Alumni Award (2011) and was honored with the Fellowship Award by the Institute of Banking of Trinidad and Tobago (2021). In 2022, he received Trinidad and Tobago’s highest national honour, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (O.R.T.T.), for his outstanding service to banking, education, and community development.

He currently serves as First Examiner and Adjunct Professor at The UWI, making significant contributions across the Business School, the Department of Management, and the Department of Political Science.

Sanjib Kalita

Sanjib Kalita is the Chair of Fintech Meetup, North America’s fastest-growing major fintech conference. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Citi’s consumer business for nine years, managing a $30 billion credit card portfolio and leading a $100 million regulatory reform initiative during the financial crisis.

He has launched over 20 products and businesses, including as a founding engineer for Intel’s graphics chip business. As the first Chief Marketing Officer at Money20/20, he played a key role in transforming the company into a global fintech event leader. Sanjib has advised over 10 startups, contributed to exits totaling over $2 billion, and formerly worked on Google Wallet—pioneering innovations in live commerce and e-commerce.

He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and both a Bachelor's and Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. While at Cornell, he built lasers, electric cars, hi-fi audio systems, and AI systems for EKG classification. A patent holder, he also created a programming language later used by Intel.

Anjen Mc Lean

Ms. Anjen McLean is a distinguished Executive Leader with over 25 years of experience in risk management, business transformation, and organisational adaptability. Originally from Trinidad, she has built an impressive international career spanning the Caribbean, the UK, and now Canada.

Based in Winnipeg, Ms. McLean currently serves as an Executive Instructor and Change Advisor for Prosci International. She also holds board leadership roles at Henteleff Park (Director and Chair of the Communications Committee) and Green Action Centre (Board Director and Chair of the Governance Committee).

Her expertise covers Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity, Change Management, Governance, Policy Development, and Sustainability (ESG). She has held senior roles such as Group Chief Risk Officer at Massy Group and Senior Risk Manager at Shell Trading (Barbados). Her portfolio includes work in sectors such as brand management (Nestlé), oil & gas (Shell), financial services (JP Morgan), retail, and non-profit organizations.

As a Board Director, Business Coach, and Consultant, Ms. McLean combines deep strategic insight with empathy to help organizations manage risk, foster growth, and enhance sustainability. Martin LaBorde

Mr. Martin LaBorde has been a valued account holder at the bank for over 40 years and an active shareholder for more than two decades. His unwavering commitment to the institution and its community of stakeholders has made him a trusted advocate for shareholder representation.

Previously, Mr. LaBorde served as the Marketing Manager for the Eastern Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC), where he gained significant expertise in marketing strategy and corporate relations. His extensive business knowledge and corporate experience have positioned him as a respected voice in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines business community.

He is known for fostering strong corporate relationships and actively promoting shareholder interests. Through his advocacy and business acumen, he plays a critical role in supporting the bank’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and shareholder alignment.

Cleo Huggins

Mrs. Cleo Huggins represents the estate of Thomas Saunders, a founding shareholder of the St. Vincent Co-operative Bank. As proxy, she upholds the interests of several prominent Vincentian stakeholders with integrity and strategic foresight.

She formerly served as the Executive Director of Invest SVG, where she led national efforts to attract investment and foster economic development. Her prior career includes over eleven years of experience in the banking sector with Barclays Bank PLC (now First Caribbean International Bank) and RBTT Bank Caribbean Ltd., holding positions such as Business Development Officer and Management Trainee.

Mrs. Huggins holds a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Wales, along with a Professional Diploma in Marketing (ACIM) from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom. Her cross-sector expertise in banking, media, and development brings high value to La Fleur Bancorp.

Her leadership is instrumental in guiding La Fleur Bancorp’s digital transformation, forging partnerships, and implementing customer-focused growth strategies aligned with the bank’s long-term sustainability goals.

Yohance Gibson

Mr. Yohance Gibson is an independent thinker and seasoned educator with over 20 years of service. He currently serves as the Principal of St. Martin’s Secondary School, where his leadership and innovative mindset continue to shape academic excellence and institutional growth.

Mr. Gibson holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership and Innovation, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a BSc in Computer Science. These qualifications position him uniquely at the intersection of education, leadership, and technology.

He brings a wealth of experience in organizational development and strategic transformation. His approach integrates forward-thinking strategies and technological solutions that inspire teams, foster innovation, and drive results. Robert Le Hunte

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. Robert Le Hunte is committed to contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of the Caribbean region, with a vision centered on creating lasting, positive impact for its people. He currently serves as Executive Director for the Caribbean member countries at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

With a transformational leadership style and more than 30 years of experience across both public and private sectors, Mr. Le Hunte has held numerous senior roles. These include Minister of Public Utilities for Trinidad and Tobago (2017–2020), Managing Director at Republic Bank, and CEO of ANSA Bank—Trinidad’s first digital-centric financial institution.

He brings a proven ability to lead high-performing teams through complex challenges, drive operational excellence, and cultivate talent. His work is underpinned by academic rigor, holding a BSc in Economics, a Master’s in Accounting, and an MBA in Finance. He is also a graduate of Harvard University.

John Wyman

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Mr. John Wyman is a visionary technology executive with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of capital markets, banking technology, and crypto-asset innovations. Renowned for his strategic foresight and innovation, he has led digital transformation across startups and Fortune 500 companies alike.

His expertise spans cloud infrastructure, AI, blockchain, and agile development, with a proven track record of launching high-impact, secure, and scalable enterprise technology solutions. At NEO Markets Inc., he expanded trading capabilities, introduced pioneering products, and led high-performing global tech teams with consistent operational and cost efficiencies.

Currently serving as CTO and Interim CFO at Mercantile Global Holdings, Mr. Wyman designed and implemented a proprietary, fully digital, core banking platform that cut staffing costs by 70% and saved $1.5 million in license fees. His leadership has been instrumental in aligning technology and compliance with innovation and revenue growth.

A graduate of Iona University and the University of New Haven, Mr. Wyman studied both psychology and computer science. His diverse background, strategic mindset, and continuous personal development are key to La Fleur Bancorp’s forward-thinking technology strategy.

Kenrick Auashie

Founder & CSO

An avid entrepreneur and visionary, Kenrick Quashie is known for his natural problem-solving skills and dedication to transforming the fintech landscape in the Caribbean. He is the founder of the first multi-currency digital wallet in the region, an initiative that gave him valuable insight into regional fintech challenges and inspired the formation of La Fleur Bancorp Limited.

Kenrick studied Political Science, Economics, and International Relations at the University of the West Indies. His career includes roles as a secondary school teacher and community college lecturer, reflecting his passion for education and youth empowerment.

He also founded Youth Business SVG (YBSVG), a nonprofit organization that mentors and equips young Vincentians with training, resources, and access to capital. Through YBSVG, he has supported the launch and success of many local businesses.

Beyond fintech and education, Kenrick is experienced in commercial farming, managing over 86 acres of land in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. His multi-faceted career and community leadership enhance La Fleur Bancorp’s mission of regional financial inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.
